We do that by applying KS Orka’s innovative Incremental Business Model to develop and accelerate geothermal power projects, with a target of up to 1,000 MW in Indonesia by 2022.
KS Orka applies the modular power plant technology from Kaishan Manufacture, our sponsor, in our projects. The technology allows us to develop geothermal resources in more cost efficient and environmentally friendly manner.

KS Orka Renewables Pte Ltd is one of the prominent geothermal developers in the world with projects spread around 4 continents. In Indonesia, KS Orka is currently the majority owner of two geothermal development companies; one of them is 240 MW PT Sorik Marapi Geothermal Power {PT SMGP). PT SMGP currently has achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) of Unit 2 and is looking for proficient and highly motivated individual for the following position:
LOCATION : Head Office Jakarta
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Conduct reservoir surveillance work, include collecting, organizing and using data from the well/reservoir (pressure, temperature, rates) to monitor performance;
• Performed production and reservoir forecasts using simulation studies to suppo rt Asset Development Plan;
• Organize and Maintain the data acquisition programs to ensure proper reservoir management (well testing, pressure surveys, production logging);
• Managing daily production and Injection wells monitoring, well surveillance activity for reservoir monitoring and well testing activity for new drilled wells;
• Integrate with Geoscience Team to understand well and reservoir performance including identify production enhancement opportunities;
• Evaluate wells performance during production activity and make a mitigation program to improve well performance.
JOB SPECIFICATION
• Bachelor Degree majoring in Chemical/Mechanical/Petroleum Engineering with min. GPA 3,00;
• Having Minimum 5 years working experience as Reservoir/Production Engineer in Geothermal Company or similar
industry;
• Having knowledge and experience in doing reservoir/production simulation;
• Having knowledge and experience in doing wellbore simulation;
• High commitment to safety

• Good command in English both oral and written;
• Conceptual and Analytical Thinking Skills;
• Strong in Presentation Skills;
• Well versed in coordinating various tasks to achieve its main objective;
• Adequate skills in Microsoft Products;
• High motivation, good team work and able to work independently.
