As a Quality Technician at Caterpillar, you will analyze data and perform root cause analysis to ensure products conform to quality standards.
As the Quality Technician, you will:
- Accountable for conformity to quality processes and reporting to management on QMS (Quality Management System) process execution.
- Training and supporting manufacturing and quality team members in requirements, inspection, and test practices.
- Inspection reports based on results of inspection analysis, participating in measurement systems analysis.
- Collecting non-conformance data and maintaining and updating quality system documents.
The successful candidate must bring:
- Good proficiency in English.
- College or university degree in Engineering/Manufacturing with an excellent understanding of quality management practices or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills in Quality Management, Accuracy and Attention to Detail, Manufacturing Processes, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Product Testing, Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies, Decision Making and Critical Thinking.
Top candidates will also bring:
- Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.
- The ability to utilize a variety of computer software packages and basic measurement devices is also necessary.

Facility Maintenance Supervisor

As a Facility Maintenance Supervisor, you will monitor and improve the maintenance of the production unit by overseeing maintenance staff and equipment; ensuring employees comply with safety procedures and standards.

You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.
Domestic relocation is available for this position.
What You Will Do:
- Ensure optimum uptime of fabrication assets like cranes, MHE (Material Handling Equipment), fixtures, full weld positioners, dollies, etc.
- Develop maintenance standard work and checklist for fabrication assets, guide our team to do maintenance based on them, and validate.
- Training the workers periodically on various maintenance processes and techniques.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to achieve maintenance KPI (Key Performance Indicator) like MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTF (Mean Time To Failures) for every fabrication asset.
- Creating work plans like preventive maintenance schedules for staff and contractors; reviewing the preventive and corrective maintenance work performed.
- Monitoring the maintenance budget; and identifying cost-effective alternatives for current maintenance activities.
What You Have (Required):
- Fluency in English.
- At least 5 (five) years of experience in a similar or relevant role with supervisory or leadership experience.
- At least a bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering.
- Skills in Planning, Conflict Management, Project Management, Manufacturing Preventive Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Plant Facilities Management, Plant Operation and Maintenance.
Top Candidates Will Also Bring:
Knowledge of the tools and techniques of 6 Sigma methodology will be attained through prior completion of Green Belt training and/or other 6 Sigma experience.
